This is how Staccioli describes his works: “My sculptures are not designed to be objects, like monuments, that embellish the urban space. They do not illustrate or celebrate, they are tools to provoke or stimulate, to involve or criticise, providing the opportunity for a collective public discussion. The contents of my work stem from the desire for active participation.”
