Mudima ’92, 1992

wood and concrete, 800x210x40 cm
Fondazione Mudima, Milan, Italy

The sculpture was installed on occasion of the exhibition Mauro Staccioli in April – May 1992

“Staccioli tackled this spacious Milanese gallery, with its three levels of large and intricate rooms, as if it were a challenging testing ground for his design ideas. Here he instilled some bold sculptural features marking unusual vertical spaces. The slender tip of the curved-based triangle which rises up to the top floor along the lift shaft is an example still worth admiring.”
