corten steel, Ø1200×60 cm
Ordino d’Arcalis, Andorra

“At a certain time in my career as an artist, I started to feel the barrier as something excessive, something that almost made it impossible to see the world beyond it. I started to believe that the pleasure of seeing, touching and thinking shouldn’t be limited, at least in this stage of my work.[…] In the same way, the purpose of the work in Ordino d’Arcalis in Andorra was to overcome the image of the circle that still obstruct the landscape.
The motivation for it was the beauty oozed out by the water, steel and vitality of this space.”

Luca Massimo Barbero, Every Deed of Man. A dialog on sculpture with Mauro Staccioli, in Mauro Staccioli, Silvana Editoriale, 2006 Milano, pp. 93-94
